It started with a water heater
A few years into owning my first house, someone asked me when I had last flushed my water heater. I could not answer. Not "a while ago". I genuinely did not know if it had ever been done. And once I started pulling that thread, it kept going: the furnace filter, the dryer vent, the gutters, the sump pump I had never once tested.
I tried a spreadsheet. It died in a month. I tried reminders in my calendar, and they turned into a wall of snoozed guilt. The problem was never that the work was hard. Most of it takes twenty minutes. The problem was that a house has dozens of small jobs on different clocks, and no human memory is built to hold them all.
Nobody's memory is built to hold forty small jobs on forty different clocks. That is a job for software.
So I built the thing I wanted: an app that knows what your home contains, knows what each thing needs and when, and rolls all of it into one number you can actually feel good about moving. That number is the part that changed how I treat my own house. A list nags you. A score invites you.

What is in your house is your business. Eden never sells your data, and you can delete your account whenever you like.
Where Eden is today
Eden is live on Google Play, and it is built and run by one person: me. That cuts both ways. You will not get a call center, but you will get the person who wrote the code reading your message, usually the same day. Every feature in the app exists because a real homeowner, often me, got burned by not having it.
If Eden saves one furnace, one basement, or one Saturday of panic, it is doing its job. I would love for it to do that for your house too.
